Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” (Matt 19:14) Jesus has a special place in his heart for children and so do we at St. Philip. Be it our Pre-school or Elementary school ministries, our Sunday School program or Vacation Bible School, or one of our other special children’s activities, we carry out Jesus’ ministry of sharing the kingdom of heaven with little ones. Someone once said that children are the church of tomorrow. True, but we believe children are the church of today and have made ministry with kids one of our primary focuses.
