Our youth ministry is a great place for young people to connect with God by growing in their faith in Christ, connect with other young people in fun and fellowship, and connect with their community and world by serving others in Jesus’ name. “EQUIP” Confirmation Program (6th- 8th Graders)
“Equip” is a three-year confirmation program designed to help equip 6th through 8th grade participants to not only know our faith as Lutheran Christians that we believe, but to also make it their own, living out their faith as life-long followers of Jesus in their daily lives. This is a spiritual formation process that helps connect the confirmand to the promises of Jesus and seeks to empower them to make this faith their own. It is also a process that prepares and equips them to be servant leaders not only within the Church of Christ, but also as an extension of the Church in serving the world and making the love of Christ known.

“Live Love(d)” is the theme for our 2013 National Youth Gathering this coming summer in San Antonio, TX as some 30,000 Lutheran teens join together to celebrate how they are live loved in Christ and how to live love in His Name for the world. ”Live Love(d)” is also the theme for our High School ministry this year at St. Philip. Join our SPY group on Sunday mornings at 10 am as they gather for a morning devotion and time of fellowship as the “Live Love(d)”. Also, be watching for upcoming youth activities in the weeks to come!
